You know that awesome feeling when you conquer your fear? That's what becoming a better public speaker does. It's like a confidence boost that spills over into everything else you do.

With great public speaking comes great communication skills. You'll learn to speak your mind clearly, charm people with your words, and rock both personal and professional chats.

3. Career Awesomeness

Remember that promotion scenario? Well, the more you refine your public speaking, the more likely you are to climb the career ladder faster than Spider-Man scaling a skyscraper.

Ever wished you had the power to persuade anyone? Public speaking helps you master the art of persuasion, whether you're selling an idea, rallying for a cause, or just trying to win an argument.

Let's Get You Started

Starting
Start Today

Alright, enough of the talk. It's time for action. Here are three super easy ways to start honing your public speaking skills:

1. Join a Toastmasters Club or Group Equivalent.

Toastmasters International? It's a meetup for public speaking enthusiasts. There are also many more clubs or educational groups out there to help with public speaking. Find a local club, join the gang, and practice speaking in a friendly, supportive environment. You'll get feedback that's honest and real.

I enrolled in a Night Course on public speaking at a local Post Secondary Institution and learned some basics from there and then took action to start creating my personality.

2. Practice, Practice, Practice

Like with anything in life, to get better at something, you gotta keep repeating that action. Whether you threw your first punch or went for your first take down. You gotta keep doing it to be good. Start small by talking to yourself in the mirror or recording your epic monologues. Gradually, level up by speaking in front of your friends or family.

I started off with the mirror and then gradually started to record myself with my phone. I then would watch the video and criticize myself on what I can do better.

3. Get a Coach, Like a Pro

If you're super serious about this, consider getting a public speaking coach. They're like Firas Zahabi or Greg Jackson, but for speaking. With personalized guidance, you'll zoom through the learning curve and overcome any challenges like a true hero.

It might be hard to find a public speaking coach with a decent budget, but there are ways to get by. I watched a bunch of YouTube Video’s on public speaking and took notes. Compared it with my videos and made the adjustments.

To Sum It Up

So, there you go, public speaking is like adding a lethal weapon to your arsenal. It boosts your confidence, makes you an ace communicator, propels your career, and gives you Jedi-like persuasion skills. And the best part? You can start getting better right now. Join a club, practice like a champ, or find a mentor – the choice is yours. So go ahead, unleash your inner superhero, and let's get you on a stage!
